Group Exercise Schedule - New Classes & Changes in September

With so many types of GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES to choose from, you’re sure to find something that’s right for you. Try cardio classes, strength, cycle, Les Mills, Zumba and more. Drop in to check out different classes to find what you like. Unsure or need modifications? Just ask! Our friendly certified instructors will help you along the way.

New Classes and Changes Beginning September 6th:

  • Engaging Brains
    • Mondays 1:00-2:00pm with Carlota in the Community Room

Class Descriptions:

  • Bodycombat: A science-backed combo of some of the most empowering and effective martial arts moves. This high-intensity, full body workout incorporates aspects of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics. It is a type of cardio peak training, which is a combination of steady and high-intensity exercise all in 30/45 & 55 mins. format options.
  • Core: A scientific core workout that uses athletic training principles to build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core. Increase core strength, tone your abs, back, glutes and legs, improve posture and balance, assist injury prevention, improve sports performance and become better at everything you do all with the use of resistance bands and weights in this 30 min class.
  • Functional Stretch: A class for all ages, body types, and fitness levels. It combines gentle stretching and basic yoga poses. This class will help guide your awareness to the muscles that may be associated with your aches and pains. Benefits include; improved flexibility, balance, joint mobility, and breath awareness.
  • Strength 101: Strength 101 consists of basic and beginner cardiovascular and strength training exercises. This class is designed to help participants gain stamina, and build lean muscle mass, while increasing balance and flexibility. Perfect for anyone new to exercise and looking for a low-impact group class.

  • Engaging Brains: If you are 60+ ENGAGING BRAINS is the class to keep you feeling Younger for Longer! We bring together the joy of dancing with fun and engaging exercises to keep your brain healthy and happy! Classes are designed to combine: “Golden Grooves” – smile and sing along as you dance, sitting in chairs, sharpening your coordination and rhythm; and “Brain Workouts” – stimulating and fun activities to boost your memory, sharpen your attention, visual perception, reasoning, and focus. We will improve your brain connections, increasing the ease to perform daily activities, enhancing your mood, and maintaining your autonomy for a happier, healthier you!
