The Y offers group exercise classes for every level, interest, and age group! With trained group exercise instructors, and a fun and supportive environment, you’ll find a class to help you reach your health and wellness goals. Choose from Spin, Cardio, Strength, Mind/Body, Yoga, and more.  Come out and enjoy your favorite Y classes and instructors with friends as you exercise and stay healthy together.

Group Ex Class Descriptions


Spin & Core will take you through hill climbs, intervals, and sprints on the bike, followed by a strength focused circuit. Circuits will take place off the bike utilizing bodyweight and dumbbells. With energizing music and a upbeat atmosphere, you’ll enjoy the challenge! 

This intense, 45 minute class, combines cardio and core! We will spend 30 minutes working through a traditional Spin class with hill climbs, intervals, and sprints, followed by a 15 minute core circuit utilizing dumbbells and body weight. This classes focuses on improving cardio endurance, sculpting and strengthening your core, and building lean muscle.

This intense, 60 minute class, combines cardio and hiit! We will spend time working through a traditional Spin class with hill climbs, intervals, and sprints, followed by high intensity circuits utilizing dumbbells and body weight. This classes focuses on improving cardio endurance, sculpting and strengthening, and building lean muscle.

Cardio classes challenge you to increase heart rate and respiration while using large muscles, to get the body moving! Improving your cardio endurance helps keep muscles strong and efficient, while boosting overall mood, lowering risk of heart disease, aiding in weight loss, and  reducing stress! Cardio classes include Pound, Turbokick, and Cardio, Core, & More.

This 30 Minute class combines full-body cardio interval training, strength training, and Pilates with drumming to get a full body workout! Using Ripstix®, which are lightly weighted drumsticks, you will let loose, tone up and rock out, providing a challenging, heart-pumping workout!

A high intensity, fast paced workout predesigned using martial arts and kickboxing moves including hiit intervals for maximum calorie burn! High or low impact options with modifications shown.

Short, high intensity bursts of exercise with limited recovery time to improve speed and challenge yourself. This quick and convenient class gets the heart going! Finish off the workout by focusing in on the core, targeting the abdominal and oblique muscles to help with balance and stabilization.


Dance your way to fitness! Each class offers different routines to help you tone and have fun doing it. Dance classes can also aide in improving posture and body control, endurance, confidence, and energy. Dance classes include Low Impact Cardio Dance, Zumba Toning, Cardio Dance, and Zumba. 

Dance at a slower pace. This class is a combination of strength, basic low impact cardiovascular segments, balance and flexibility.  Specifically designed for those who prefer a great workout without the added impact to joints. Great for beginners and active older adults.

If you are looking for a fun, exciting new workout then this is the one for you! When it comes to body sculpting and high energy cardio work, Zumba Toning raises the bar. It combines targeted body sculpting exercises utilizing light-weight weights to enhance rhythm, balance and coordination which targets all the major muscle groups. This is a high energy cardio workout with Latin infused Zumba moves which create a calorie torching, strength-training fitness dance party that will leave you feeling strong, toned and worked completely from head to toe. This class is perfect for all fitness levels.

This dance-based cardio class incorporates a wide variety of medium- and low-impact aerobic dance moves to a variety of high-energy beats. It’s like a dance party!

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you’ll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.

Build friendships and muscle with strength classes at the Y! From basic to advanced, our strength classes are designed to increase lean muscle mass to help improve your performance of every day activities. Classes will utilize dumbbells, weights and body weight, for a full body workout. Strength classes include the Hiit Pit, BodyPump, Total Body Hiit, and BootCamp. 

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training, which is essentially a fancy term for circuits or, even simpler, cardio. In this 30 minute HIIT workout, you can expect to get your heart rate up for a certain amount of time, followed by a small rest period. The goal of the class to keep you at a “high intensity” level of exercise to boost your conditioning and cardiovascular strength.

BodyPump is barbell workout choreographed to music, that challenges all major muscle groups. Class consists of squats, presses, lifts and curls as you strengthen, tone and define your entire body. You determine the level you’ll work at by choosing the appropriate weights with lots of repetition. Modifications shown for all fitness levels.

Bootcamp is a fun, non-traditional way to get in shape and feel great! This class caters to all fitness levels, whether you’re a beginner or advanced. We will use resistance training with strength equipment and body weight, to improve your strength, energy, and cardiovascular endurance.

Tabata interval training is one of the most effective types of high intensity interval training. Through a variety of simple, yet intense exercises, each class will help improve balance, strength, and cardio endurance. With a variety of exercises using bodyweight and dumbbells, you’ll always be targeting major muscle groups for a whole body workout.

In just 30 minutes, we will work through ab exercises to help strengthen and sculpt your core. This class is a great way to tone up your abdominal area, which will improve overall full body strength, as the core is used in a variety of upper and lower body exercises. With modifications, this class is suitable for all fitness levels.

A ballet inspired fitness class incorporating a ballet barre, some plies, with bursts of energy and light weights united together to give a full body workout. A focus on alignment and posture while enhancing coordination, balance and overall strength.


Active Older Adults Classes concentrate on improving strength and flexibility so daily living activities become easier. Whether you’re looking to stay in shape or increase social interaction, we have something for everyone. Active Older Adults classes include Y-B Fit, Building Fit Friends, Senior Dance, and Silver Sneakers Classics. 

A full body workout for all fitness levels with a focus on flexibility and strength.

This class is for older adults who want to express themselves through the art of dance. Ballet, lyrical, and musical theater are taught in this class. Gentle warm-ups and stretching are introduced, along with simple dance routines.

Have fun and move to the music through exercises designed to increase strength, range of motion and activities of daily living. Silver Sneakers group exercise classes are appropriate for older adults who are fit and active as well as those who are sedentary, intimidated, unfamiliar with exercise, entering post-rehabilitation programs, and ALL those who enjoy a positive, upbeat social environment.

Mind and body connection is just as important as your physical fitness! Reconnect with your inner self while improving flexibility, posture, core strength, and breathing. Mind and Body classes include Pilates, Virtual Yoga, Yoga, and Gentle Stretch Yoga.

From posture to coordination, the lessons learned in Pilates will carry with you throughout your day, so you are more aware of your body and how to keep it healthy. In our Pilates classes, you will build your core, strengthen muscles throughout your body, and focus on balance and posture for overall health. This class offers a variety of modifications for all fitness levels, to bring down or increase the intensity.
