This unique training opportunity focuses on getting you results through power in numbers. Exercising with 2-4 friends is always more fun than exercising alone. A certified Personal Trainer will guide the group and make sure everyone meets their goals.

Development through positive coaching is how we coach youth to use the equipment in our weight rooms. This class covers basic fundamentals and proper form specific to beginners.

When we encourage youth to exercise safely, we help build a healthier community. Completion of the class allows youth ages 12-14 to use our weight and cardio rooms.

This class will be offered on a one-on-one basis and is scheduled at your convenience. The class includes three-1 hour sessions with a certified personal trainer.

Intro to Teen Weight Training

When we encourage youth to exercise safely, we help build a healthier community.  This class will cover proper form and Instructor cues. Completion of the class is required for any youth ages 12-13 before they can participate in Bodypump Group Exercise classes and allows youth ages 12-13 to attend BodyPump class with a parent or guardian. 

This class will be offered on a one-on-one basis and is scheduled at your convenience. The class includes one 90 minute session with a certified BodyPump Instructor.

Most of us know we need to exercise more, but don’t know where to start, what to do, or how much/how often to do it. The benefits depend on your particular needs and goals. Personal trainers assess their clients and make a customized, progressive exercise plan. For experienced exercisers, personal trainers can assist clients in breaking through plateaus or boredom by selecting exercises that will continue to challenge the body in new ways.

Talk with the our Healthy Living Coordinator to see which personal trainer might be the best fit for you. Look for a trainer who has education and/or experience that match your needs and goals. Ask for a consultation to get to know them better!

Yes, if that particular trainer has time available during your desired workout time.

The first session will focus on health history, physical assessments, and discussion around goals and interests. The following sessions will focus on an exercise routine that facilitates progression toward your goals.

Yes. At the first session, any pre-existing injuries should be discussed with the personal trainer so he or she can modify an exercise routine to best address that issue. If the injury or condition is something that would jeopardize your safety while exercising, a medical clearance may be requested from your physician.

You can purchase personal training above or at the Welcome Desk. The Healthy Living Coordinator will pass on the request to the appropriate personal trainer, who will call you to schedule your first appointment. Personal training fees must be paid prior to the first appointment.
