When I’m not working, I spend time with my husband and daughter or shopping at Hobby Lobby. We love to make crafts!
My favorite color is blue, my favorite candy is Reece’s, and I love Dr. Pepper as a special treat!
Hi! My name is Lauren. I live with my husband and 8-year-old daughter. We love living in the Duneland area. One of our favorite activities to do together is search for beach glass.
I graduated from Chesterton High School in 2009. After, I attended Purdue North Central to study Early Childhood Education. I have worked with Children of all ages for over 10 years! You can find me spending time with my family, running, and hiking when I’m not teaching.

Hello! My name is Melissa and I am the Early Childhood Director here at the Forchetti Family YMCA Center For Early Learning.
I have worked for the YMCA for 12 years. I started my career as an assistant teacher in the 3 year old room, then advanced into a lead teacher for 5 year olds. I then spent some time working in the office and in the billing department, before transitioning into my current position. I have been married for 13 years and have one son, Juan. He currently attends Purdue University Northwest and is double majoring in accounting and finance. He also helps out as an Assistant Teacher in the 5 year old room.
I am a Disney Fanatic! I have been to Disney World over 20 times and don’t plan on stopping! I love visiting all the theme parks and watching the Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom.

I started working as a teacher in 2015 and have been the lead infant teacher since 2019.
I love all Disney movies but when I am looking to read instead of watch, my go to literature is poetry. I love coffee and Raspberry Tea, the colors orange and yellow, and my favorite season is fall.

I graduated with my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2002. I was a stay at home mom for a bit before returning to work with infants and toddlers in 2011. Since then, I have worked with several different ages from one year olds to preschoolers.
When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my pets and my family! I have two cats and a chinchilla and I am a married mother of four kids, ages 15, 16, 17, and 23.

I have my CDA and have expereince working with 3-5 year olds. I am married and have two beautiful daughters. I love the relationship I have with the people I work with and I love watching the kids grow and learn new things.
When I am not teaching, my favorite place to shop is Target. My favorite color is purple and I love Starbucks. You can always find me snacking on something and my favorite treat is macaroons!
Hi! My name is Sarah and I am so excited to be your one’s teacher! I have been working at the Forchetti Family Center for Early Learning since January 2021 and the one’s classroom is my favorite to work with. I love seeing how much the kids develop during the first year of life, along with all the giggles and snuggles on a weekly basis!
Prior to working here, I was a one’s teacher for about 5 years. I have an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Purdue University and 17 years of teaching experience in local childcare facilities, primarily in the infant and toddler classrooms. I have children of my own, Josh, who is 24 and Emma, who is 18.
My favorite season is fall and I love the colors purple and turquoise. I am always hungry for pizza or tacos, and love iced butterbeer from Bigby and Mountain Dew!
