Our basketball programs are designed for players of all abilities who want to have fun, take part in healthy competition and develop their skills. Players will learn the fundamentals of the game and the importance of teamwork, responsibility and sportsmanship. Volunteer coaches provide support and encouragement and serve as positive role models for youth.

Our Youth Basketball League is open to all youth ages 3-14 years in a fun, skill-based environment.

At the YMCA, all of our youth sports coaches are volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach, as a small token of gratification for your efforts and with met expectations agreed upon during the volunteer coach onboarding process, volunteer head coaches will have the opportunity to have their child’s registration fee credited back to their YMCA account after the conclusion of the season. Team placement and any league information emails will begin going out after sign-ups end. The email will be sent to the email address on file for the participant to be registered, so please make sure it is up to date.
