SPINNING WITH HEART

Duneland Family YMCA members, employees, and friends are invited to join a team that will ride to raise funds for the Annual Campaign, which provides subsidies and financial assistance so that everyone can access Y programs and services.

SPIN-A-THON Spinning with Heart – Friday, February 20, 2026 in the Duneland Family YMCA Gymnasium. 215 Roosevelt St Chesterton

SPACE IS LIMITED.

9 teams of 5 will go head-to-head in cycling sessions at 5:00, 6:00, and 7:00 PM. There will be 3 teams spinning at each hour. Time slots fill fast and are first come, first served! Each session features a 45-minute ride powered by high-energy instructors and motivating music.

PartyLyfe Entertainment will be spinning the DJ table as the riders spin their wheels to keep the party going. Pizza will be provided by AJ’s Pizza Co. to riders after each ride is complete!

All funds raised will support the Y’s Annual Campaign and directly connect youth with life-changing opportunities and experiences within summer camp, before and after school programming, early learning, and so many other programs the Y offers.

Here’s what you need to know for Spin-a-thon:

• Once your team of 5 is formed, each person should register individually. Be sure everyone selects the same time slot and enters the same team name during registration. Make sure everyone on your team is choosing the same time slot!
• $30 registration per person includes a dry-wick long-sleeve event t-shirt.
  • Each rider is committed to raise at least $100.
  • Pizza donated by AJ’s Pizza Co. and refreshments will be provided during the event.
• Open to members and non-members, so invite a friend or two!
• Prizes!
  • Most Money Raised –  Team
    • The team of 5 that raises the most money will win a United Center suite experience for a Chicago Bulls or Blackhawks game, donated by The Times Media Company. Select dates available in March/April (based on availability).
      • Prizes also awarded for:
        • Most Money Raised 2nd place- Team
        • Most Money Raised – Individual
        • Most Miles – Team

How to Collect Donations for your Team:

Option 1: Donate by Cash

1. Place your cash donation in an envelope.
2. Include a note with your name and the team name you are supporting.
3. Drop off your donation at the Front Desk of the Duneland Family YMCA at 215 Roosevelt St

Option 2: Donate by Check

1. Make checks payable to Duneland Family YMCA.
2. Write the team name you are supporting in the memo line or include a note.
3. Drop off your check at the Front Desk of the Duneland Family YMCA or mail to 215 Roosevelt St Chesterton, IN 46304

Option 3: Donate Online

4. In the notes/comment section, indicate which team you are donating on behalf of.
