OUT OF SCHOOL LEARNING
Know your kids are safe and happy in our Out of School Learning Program. Our programs are full of activities that parents and kids love.
We know learning and fun doesn’t end when the school bell rings. That’s why we offer the Out of School Learning Program, conveniently located at your child’s elementary/middle school.
Out of School Learning offers MORE than just childcare:
- Homework support
- Healthy meals and snacks
- Fun games to release energy
- Free play to foster creativity
- Character building mini-lessons on the Y’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, & Responsibility

When school is out, the Y steps in! We offer Out of School Learning programs that keep kids learning, growing, and thriving before and after the school day.
OUT OF SCHOOL LEARNING
Make more of your child’s out-of-school time!
Led by qualified, caring staff, the Duneland YMCA’s Out of School Learning program is designed to be fun and educational and align with the school day, supporting literacy, arts, and science growth. Your child will receive help with their homework, participate in games and activities and grow their creativity through various projects. A healthy snack is also provided.
LOCATIONS
The Y’s Before & After School program offers high-quality care right at your student’s school. We serve the Duneland School Corporation School District at Brummitt, Liberty, Bailly, Yost, Jackson Elementary, Westchester Middle and Liberty Middle Schools.

Frequently Asked Questions
Registration Packets can be requested on July 1, 2024 by emailing [email protected].
Our regular child care program hours are 6:00 am to the start of your child’s school day, and from school dismissal to 6 pm.
Payments will be drafted each Monday of the current week of care with our convenient electronic draft system.
