Welcome to the Duneland Family YMCA
At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. The Duneland Family YMCA is in your community to nurture the potential of every child and teen, to improve health and well-being, and to give back and provide support to our neighbors.
The Y is for everyone. Our programs, services and initiatives: enable kids to realize their potential, prepare teens for college, offer ways for families to have fun together, empower people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body, prepare people for empowerment, welcome and embrace newcomers and help foster a service ethic. That's just the beginning.

ENSURE A BRIGHTER FUTURE. Prepare your child for academic success! The Duneland Family YMCA Early Childhood Program believes the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for future success in school and life. The YMCA is the largest and leading provider of Early Education in the Duneland Community and is known to provide an environment that is safe, caring, and respectful of each child and his or her family. This program is dedicated to quality child care and education by providing young children with creative learning experiences rooted in early childhood theory and practice. Our Preschool staff are intentional about making learning fun, by integrating the Arts, STEM, Cognitive, Physical, and Social-Emotional development objectives into the daily curriculum. Healthy child development starts early. That’s why we offer Preschool programs that help children learn the essential skills they’ll need later on. We work to help everyone have the best possible start in their education and arrive at their first day of Kindergarten ready to learn. Preschool is offered to children ages 6 weeks – 5 years in a variety of full and half days. Our facility offers secure entrance, large classrooms, indoor and outdoor play ground, summer swimming lessons, weekly fitness class, Minds in Motion, and more.
