YMCA Ambassador Program

Volunteers are one of the Duneland Family YMCA's most valuable assets. These people give selflessly of their time and energy to help with events and day-to-day operation of the Y. At the YMCA these people are referred to as Ambassadors. Our Ambassadors serve as YMCA advocates in the community, assist other Y members in becoming more connected to the YMCA and are able to demonstrate the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

An Ambassador must be a current, active member of the Duneland Family YMCA that has a general knowledge of the YMCA. Must be friendly, outgoing, and be able to communicate personal Y experiences.
