Personal Property
The YMCA is not responsible for personal property. All participants are encouraged to bring a padlock and lock valuables in a locker while using the facility. All locks are to be removed daily and will be cut off if left on without a locker rental with a membership. You may rent a locker for $60 per year if you want to leave your lock on all year.
Personal Behavior
Smoking, chewing tobacco, drugs, alcoholic beverages, firearms, weapons and profanity are not permitted or tolerated ANYWHERE on the premises.
Class Cancellations
All classes are subject to cancellation if registration and revenue requirements established by the YMCA are not met or there is insufficient registration.
Refund Policy
It is the policy of the YMCA not to issue a refund on memberships. If you move out of the area, a portion of your membership may be credited towards a membership at another YMCA in your community. Refunds on classes, programs and leagues will only be granted if there is a cancellation by the YMCA. NO EXCEPTIONS other than medical proof.

Did you know that your membership at the Duneland YMCA is valuable at other YMCA’s within Indiana? The YMCA has made a cooperative effort to enhance the value of your membership by honoring your membership up to 4 times a month at a different YMCA location than where you purchased your membership.
United Way
Programs at the Duneland Family YMCA are partially funded by the United way of Porter County. These funds help support childcare, special needs childcare, and youth guidance.
