We take pride in providing a safe, friendly environment at the Duneland Family YMCA. We consider our members as part of our YMCA family and do everything possible to accommodate their needs and wants. We have rules that all members are expected to follow when visiting our Y so that every member has the same pleasant experience. Listed below are a few rules that we would appreciate every member follow while at the Y.
The YMCA is not responsible for personal property. All participants are encouraged to bring a padlock and lock valuables in a locker while using the facility. All locks are to be removed daily and will be cut off if left on without a locker rental with a membership. You may rent a locker for $60 per year if you want to leave your lock on all year.
Smoking, chewing tobacco, drugs, alcoholic beverages, firearms, weapons and profanity are not permitted or tolerated ANYWHERE on the premises.
You are asked to show your membership card and scan in every time you use the facility. If your membership card is lost, please see the front desk for a replacement.
Children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. This includes the use of the pool during summer. Children under 11 have access to the Fun Zone during schedule group fitness times.
All classes are subject to cancellation if registration and revenue requirements established by the YMCA are not met or there is insufficient registration.
It is the policy of the YMCA not to issue a refund on memberships. You must give a 30 day notification of a membership cancelation by filling out a bank draft cancelation form, or sending an e-mail to
