Mission
The Duneland Family YMCA Early Childhood Development Program is devised of a staff made of cutting edge professionals who are dedicated to quality childcare by providing young children with creative learning experiences rooted in early childhood theory and practice. Our program is designed to provide an environment that is safe, caring and respectful of each child and his or her family while supporting each child’s unique social, emotional, intellectual, creative, physical and developmental growth. We try to teach and expose children ages 3 – 5 in preschool activities (writing, phonics) to help kids be ready for kindergarten.
The Duneland Family YMCA Early Childhood Development Program is dedicated to improving and enhancing the life of the Duneland community not only through the provision of excellent childcare, but also in our ongoing support of parents and the parenting process. We are firm in our belief that it takes a community to raise a child.
